Why this exists
AI 3D previews can look convincing while hiding the questions that matter downstream: Is the file readable? How large is it? Does it contain materials and textures? How dense is the mesh? Which qualities are still unknown?
MeshProof turns one object image into a GLB draft and pairs the result with a structural Asset Readiness Report. The report is intentionally conservative. It never substitutes a file check for artistic review, topology repair, licensing review, or testing inside your target application.
Editorial identity
Elena Marr / 林知微 is MeshProof's editorial pen name and Independent 3D Workflow Researcher. It is a consistent byline, not a claim of a separate legal person, degree, employer, or client history.
Elena documents practical image-to-3D inputs, GLB structure, PBR material signals, and the limits of automated asset inspection.
Model disclosure
The current generation pipeline uses Microsoft's open TRELLIS.2 model through fal. MeshProof is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft or fal.
What we will not claim
- A structurally readable GLB is not automatically game-ready, rig-ready, or print-ready.
- A triangle count does not prove good topology.
- Materials and texture references do not prove correct appearance in every renderer.
- One image cannot reveal hidden sides; the model must infer them.
